In the Zhytomyr region, 44 communities of the Moscow Patriarchate have already joined the PCU

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 44 religious communities in the Zhytomyr Region, formerly members of the UOC-Moscow Patriarchate, have joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

About this in Facebook Zhytomyr-Ovruch Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine reports, Ukrinform reports.

“As of June 8, 2022, 44 religious communities and 8 clergy have joined the Zhytomyr-Ovruch Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine,” the statement said.

As Ukrinform reported, more than 600 communities have joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine from the UOC-Moscow Patriarchate since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
