Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 44 religious communities in the Zhytomyr Region, formerly members of the UOC-Moscow Patriarchate, have joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

“As of June 8, 2022, 44 religious communities and 8 clergy have joined the Zhytomyr-Ovruch Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine,” the statement said.
