The famous musician addressed his supporters.

British singer and composer Sting asked to inform Ukraine so that the country could cope with the difficult winter.

The performer could not stay away when he learned how Ukrainians are suffering due to the mass attacks of the Russian occupiers on the country’s energy infrastructure. The musician also noted that overcoming the energy collapse for Ukrainians in winter is the most important battle in a full-scale war.

“Winter has come to England, but it has also started in Ukraine, where Russian troops continue to attack energy facilities. This makes life unbearable and difficult for Ukrainian families. The fate of millions of people there now hangs in the balance and depends on your help. Keeping warm in winter will the most important battle of this war,” Sting said in a video message on Instagram.

The musician said that all funds that will be collected with the help of his initiative “The Renew Democracy” (Renew Democracy – English) will be spent on the purchase of fast food and sleeping bags for Ukrainians.

“Every dollar of yours counts. Give the gift of warmth to Ukrainians this year,” Sting added.
