It is unknown whether it will be possible to restore communications before the cold in one of the most war-damaged cities of the region.
Due to the significant destruction of residential buildings in Izyum and the onset of the cold season, soon the city promises to carry out free evacuation of all those willing. The relevant announcement is distributed by the executive committee of the Izyum City Council.
“The resettlement will be carried out in Kharkiv, Poltava and other regions of Ukraine,” it was reported there.
In order to evacuate from Izyum, a written application should be submitted to the mayor Valery Marchenko. Applications are accepted at the address: Vasylkivskogo Street, 4 from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:00. You must take the passport of a citizen of Ukraine with you.
According to the mayor of Izyum, the restoration of electricity and gas supply networks is carried out almost around the clock, but, unfortunately, the work is complicated not only by significant destruction, but also by continuous mining of communication routes. Also, work is being carried out at the communal enterprises “Blagoustrii”, “Teplomerezha” and “Vodokanal”, and for the partial restoration of the road surface in the city, road filling has already begun.
Rescue services dismantle the rubble and clear the territory of mines. In order to call sappers and inspect private territory, residents of the Izyum community can submit a corresponding application to the fire department. From Monday, September 26, a curfew was introduced in Izyum from 19:00 to 06:00. A complete ban on the sale of any alcoholic beverages was also established. Law and order in the city will be ensured by employees of the National Police.
We will remind up to 17,000 people remain in Izyumabout 1,500 of them are children.
