The security service intercepted the documents of the Russian occupiers, which regulate the organization of a pseudo-referendum in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported by the SBU press service, Hromadske writes.
According to the materials, special services have established the identities of more than a thousand Russian security forces, who are planned to be involved in the “protection” of pseudo-voting events. Among them are units of the Russian Guard, the military police of the Soviet Union, and the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It was established that traitors and collaborators who were part of the “Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Zaporizhzhya Oblast” created by the occupiers should help them.
To control the behavior of the participants of the pseudo-referendum, the Kremlin organizers plan to involve an extensive network of private security firms under the control of the special services of the Russian Federation.
In addition, SBU employees received a complete list of enemy henchmen who voluntarily agreed to head the so-called territorial election commissions. Currently, more than 390 collaborators have been identified.
The Security Service also identified all the organizers of illegal activities, their credentials and locations.
A criminal case was opened for: Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 5 of Art. 111-1 (collaborative activity), Part 2 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).
Measures are being taken to bring all the culprits to justice. The list of those involved in the organization of the pseudo-referendum can be found here.
What is known about pseudo-referendums?
Russian mass media reported that on September 23, pseudo-referendums on joining Russia will begin in the temporarily captured regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
“Voting” will last 5 days – until September 27. On the last day, voting will take place at the polling stations, and on the previous days, “for the purpose of security” – at home territories and “according to applications at home”.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, the question sounds like this: “Do you support leaving Ukraine, the development of the region as an independent state and joining Russia?”
Instead, in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions since 2014, people will be asked: “Are you in favor of joining Russia with the rights of a subject of the federation?”
Preliminary results of the so-called voting are planned to be published on September 27-28.
