The King of Great Britain was at a loss for words to convey his emotions.
During meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Charles III said that he was very worried about the life of the president and Ukraine.
About this writes BBC News.
“We have all worried about you and thought about your country for so long that I cannot put into words,” said Charles III.
The head of Ukraine said that both chambers of the parliament of the Kingdom provided “great support” to Ukraine.
“I am very glad,” replied Charles III.
Royal correspondent Sean Coughlan expressed the opinion that for King Charles, the meeting with Zelensky is not just a nice photo session.
“This was a deeply personal matter. The king was extremely open about Ukraine, so the president’s visit will mean much more than a handshake and a photo session,” he said.
We will remind that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived at Buckingham Palace the day before, where met with King Charles III.
We should add that on February 8, the British Govt introduced new sanctions against Russia.
