Pantone announced the main color of 2023 — World — tsn.ua

It’s “a bold shade that brings something alive to the world of technology.”

International color research institute Pantone has presented the color of the year 2023. It’s called Viva Magenta 18-1750 and is described as “an unconventional red for an unconventional time.”

It is reported on website of the institute.

The company is confident that it is “a strong and bold shade that brings something alive and real to the world of technology.”

“It’s assertive but not aggressive – we call it a fist in a velvet glove. Viva Magenta connects us to primal matter, calling upon the forces of nature. Viva Magenta recharges our spirit, helping to strengthen inner strength,” said Pantone Executive Director Leatrice Eisman .

It is worth noting that Pantone annually chooses the main color of the year, starting with from 2000.

We will remind that in 2022 the main color was a shade of purple, which is called Very Peri. It symbolizes carefree confidence.

Colors of 2021 from Pantone became the gray shade of Ultimate Gray and bright yellow Illuminating, and the main color of 2020 Pantone chose the shade 19-4052 Classic Blue or classic blue.
