On October 6, the Binance cryptocurrency exchange announced about obtaining a license in Kazakhstan for the management of the digital asset platform and the provision of custodial services on the basis of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC).
The document issued by the AIFC Committee for the Regulation of Financial Services provides the platform with the opportunity to offer exchange and conversion services, deposit and withdrawal of fiat currencies, storage of cryptocurrency assets and stock trading.
Registration on the stock exchange is available for individuals and legal entities from any country.
In the future, the company intends to expand the range of provided services.
Earlier, ForkLog reported that Binance had signed memorandum of understanding with the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document prescribes the procedure for interaction between the parties for the safe development of the virtual asset market in the country.
As a reminder, in August, the Bitcoin Exchange received approval in principle to obtain the status of digital asset platform operator and provider of custodial services in the AIFC.
