During a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on June 8, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told him about his last call to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Note that this is a conversation Scholz with Putin, which took place on May 28.

According to the report, the German Chancellor informed Zelensky about the last telephone conversation with Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron on May 28.

“They agreed that everything should be done to allow the export of grain from Ukraine, especially by sea,” the spokesman said.

He added that Scholz and Zelensky agreed to continue discussing ways to support Ukraine and “stay in close contact.”

We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine himself announced the talks with the Chancellor of Germany, pointing out that they discussed strengthening the state’s defense support, food security, Russia’s compliance with international norms on the treatment of prisoners of war and European integration.
