The former US president has called the 2020 election a “massive fraud”, citing restrictions on posting on Twitter.
The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, called for the repeal of the Constitution and his reinstatement. He made the scandalous statement on his social network Truth Social after the publication of an internal correspondence of the management of Twitter regarding the limitation of publications according to the company’s policy regarding the possible intervention of hackers and hacked accounts.
About this reports CNN.
In his statement, Trump is demanding the annulment of the results of the 2020 presidential election, in which he lost to Joe Biden. For this, he proposed to abolish the Constitution altogether.
At the same time, Trump called the 2020 election “a massive fraud of such a scale that it allows to put an end to the rules and regulations, even those contained in the Constitution.”
White House Press Secretary Andrew Bates responded to Trump’s statement, calling it “terrible.”
“The American Constitution is a sacred document that has guaranteed freedom and the rule of law in our great country for more than 200 years. The Constitution unites the American people – regardless of party – and elected leaders swear to uphold it. It is the best monument to all Americans who have given lives to defeat self-serving despots who abused their power and trampled on fundamental rights,” the White House spokesman emphasized.
Trump’s post followed the release of internal Twitter emails showing that members of the social network’s legal, policy and communications teams discussed whether to restrict the New York Post article under the company’s hacked content policy.
We will remind, the former head of the White House, Donald Trump officially nominated his candidacy for the elections President of the United States in 2024.
