June 23 in the church calendar – Remembrance Day of the Holy Martyr Timothy of Prussia. He was a devout Christian and lived in the IV century in the city of Prussia. His life coincided with the reign of the cruel Emperor Julian the Apostate, who is known for his shameful treatment of Christians. Timothy was arrested. He was intimidated, but he continued to spread the Word of God among the Gentiles. Julian became angry and ordered the execution of the holy martyr. It happened in 362.
